Youth Protection & Content Ratings

myDroid.chat takes the protection of young users seriously. This page explains our age verification system and the content rating model.

16+

Minimum Age: 16 Years

myDroid.chat may only be used by persons aged 16 or older. Certain content categories require a higher minimum age. Use by persons under 16 is strictly prohibited.

Content Ratings

Since use of myDroid.chat is restricted to persons aged 13 and over, we distinguish three effective content levels. All submitted Droids and Story Templates are automatically reviewed and assigned to one of these levels:

General (SFW) — Ages 13+

Safe for all ages. No violence, no horror, no romantic or sexual themes. Accessible to all users. Default level for new Droids and Stories.

Unlock: none — visible to all accounts

Mature — Ages 16+

Moderate violence, darker themes, horror elements, mild romance permitted. No explicit sexual content, no graphic gore.

Unlock: age 16+, self-declaration required in profile settings

Explicit — Ages 18+

Graphic violence, explicit romantic or sexual content between adult fictional characters permitted. Strictest content level.

Unlock: age 18+, age verification required in profile settings

Technical Safeguards

· Automated AI Moderation: All Droids and Story Templates submitted to the marketplace are reviewed and classified by an AI moderation system before becoming publicly available.
· Content Filter: Mature and Explicit content is hidden by default and must be actively unlocked in the user profile.
· Mobile Apps: In the mobile app (iOS/Android), Explicit content is fully blocked due to store policies, regardless of profile settings.
· Report Review: Reported content is reviewed by our team and re-classified or removed as appropriate.
· Absolute Prohibition: Sexual depictions or descriptions of minors are strictly prohibited on the platform under any circumstances. Accounts found in violation will be immediately suspended and incidents reported to the relevant authorities.

Guidance for Parents

If your child wishes to use the platform, we recommend:

→ Complete registration together and ensure the age information is entered correctly
→ Make sure the content rating remains set to "General (SFW)"
→ Use the "Delete account" function in the profile settings if you have concerns
→ Report problematic content via the report button or by email
