Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) · Last updated: March 2026

These policies describe what is allowed and prohibited on myDroid.chat. They are supplementary to the TOS.

🚫 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following uses will result in immediate and permanent suspension and, if applicable, criminal charges:

✕ CSAM – Any sexual depiction or description of minors. This applies absolutely and without exception, regardless of the fictional nature of the content.
✕ Incitement to violence against real people – Direct calls for violence, murder, or terrorism against real existing persons or groups.
✕ Incitement to hatred – Content that incites hatred against groups of people based on their origin, religion, sexual orientation, etc. (§ 130 StGB).
✕ Identity theft – Droids that deceptively imitate real existing persons in order to harm or compromise them.

Allowed Content

✓ Fictional droids, characters, role-playing — also with mature themes, according to the unlocked age rating level of your account

✓ Creative writing, storytelling, interactive narratives, worldbuilding

✓ Companion experiences, learning assistants, creative helpers

✓ Fantasy action, horror, and dark themes within the appropriate age rating framework

✓ Droids featuring public figures with a clearly recognizable fictional/satirical character — not for deceptive impersonation or defamation

Prohibited Use

✕ Content that deliberately bypasses the assigned age rating level (e.g., circumvention through code words or role-playing instructions)

✕ Mass automated retrieval of content (scraping, bots) without permission

✕ Reverse engineering of the AI models or system prompts through targeted attacks

✕ Creating droids with the aim of harassing or threatening other users

✕ Distribution of malware, phishing content, or security-related attack tools

✕ Sharing of access data or account sharing with third parties

✕ Use of the platform for commercial resale without express permission

✕ Impersonation or defamation of real persons — Droids or story characters may not be used to deceptively imitate living or deceased persons, attribute statements to them, or portray them in a defamatory context. Any resemblance of purely fictional characters to real existing persons is coincidental and unintentional; responsibility for deliberately created resemblances lies with the creator.

Understanding AI Content

AI is not human. The droids on myDroid.chat are software systems, not real people. No conversation with a droid constitutes a real relationship, medical advice, or legal advice.

AI can be wrong. Language models can generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect information. Critical decisions should never be based solely on AI output.

Fictional remains fictional. Role-playing content and story scenarios are explicitly fictional. They are not an expression of opinions of the provider and should not be interpreted as instructions for action.

Marketplace Rules

Anyone who publishes their own droids or story templates in the marketplace is also subject to the following requirements:

· Correct age rating classification upon submission — misclassifications will be corrected by the AI moderation system
· No use of protected brand names or character names without permission
· No misleading descriptions or thumbnails
· Content must comply with the guidelines of the respective app stores (relevant for mobile users)

AI Labeling for External Distribution

EU AI Act Art. 50 — Labeling Obligation

If you publicly share images, audio files, or texts generated on myDroid.chat (social media, blogs, websites, publications), you are required by EU law to label them as AI-generated.

You are the owner of the content you generate on myDroid.chat — and thus also bear the sole responsibility for its distribution. The provider has no influence on how you use the content outside of the platform.

! Images: Label AI-generated images on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook) as "AI generated" — many platforms also require this in their own rules.

! Audio / Voiceovers: Synthetic voices that are passed off as real are illegal in many contexts (deepfake voice of a real person without consent).

! Texts: AI texts that are presented as one's own human statements can be deceptive — e.g., in applications, journalistic articles, or academic papers. Check the rules of the respective context.

! Droids of real people: Publicly distributing AI content that deceptively imitates a real person can violate personality rights and be punishable by law.

Recommended labeling formats: "AI generated" · #AIGenerated · #KIGeneriert · platform-specific AI labels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube). Further information: EU AI Act (European Commission)

Reporting Violations

If you report a violation of these policies, please email the team at: contact@mydroid.chat. Please include the relevant Droid ID, a brief description of the problem, and optionally a screenshot. We process all reports as quickly as possible.

Consequences of Violations

⚠ First violations: Warning and deletion of the content

⚠ Repeated violations: Temporary account suspension

✕ Serious violations: Immediate permanent suspension, possibly criminal charges
