How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly in the app — no email required, no waiting period. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Open your profile
Tap the 🎁 gift icon or your avatar in the top navigation bar to open the profile sidebar.
Scroll to the bottom
Scroll all the way down in the profile sidebar.
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm the deletion in the dialog. Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.
⚠ This action cannot be undone
Once confirmed, deletion is permanent. There is no recovery option.
💳 Active subscription
If you have an active Google Play subscription, it will be cancelled automatically when your account is deleted — no further charges. No refund is issued for the current billing period. Apple App Store subscriptions must be cancelled manually in iOS Settings.
What Data Is Deleted
All data associated with your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation:
Data Retention After Deletion
Anonymized usage logs
Server logs may contain anonymized request data (IP addresses, timestamps) for up to 30 days as part of routine server operation. These logs do not contain account-identifying information after account deletion.
Publicly shared templates
If you published AI companion templates to the public marketplace, those templates may remain available unless you deleted them before account deletion. Contact us to request removal.
Subscription billing
Billing records are managed by Google Play. Contact Google Play support for billing history. myDroid.chat does not retain payment information.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to log in and delete your account yourself, send a deletion request to:
privacy[at]mydroid.chat
Please include the email address you used to sign in. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.
